1. What are Refurbished Mobiles?

Refurbished Mobiles generally refer to pre-owned devices that have gone through multiple quality checks and repaired (if required) and repackaged so that it for reused again.

It's not necessary that Refurbished mobiles have faults in the initial stage. Refurbished mobiles are also categorized as handsets that were returned by customers who changed their minds within the 30-day cooling-off period after they purchased the new mobile phone. These are devices, which hadn’t been returned because they were faulty. They undergo necessary tests before they can be re-sold.

Before these refurbished mobiles are sold, all refurbished mobiles go through 40+ quality checks to ensure that they’re in full working condition and/or upgraded to new or like-new condition phones.

Modmobile securely wipes any data on every phone. So to all intents and purposes, the customer always starts afresh with a like-new condition phone. In addition, we update the refurbished handsets to the latest version of the operating system that powers it.

2. Will my Refurbished Product Work Like New?

Yes, refurbished products are 100% functional and tested meticulously to work like new ones. Refurbished/Used products will always have 100% of their parts in complete working condition, from the screen to the battery or the charger.

Well, refurbished products aren’t the same as “used” products. If any parts on a refurbished product are not up to the functional standard of a new product, they will be replaced with genuine spares. We perform more than 40+ quality checks to make sure the device is fault-free and a test result is also shared to gain your trust.

No matter what, if you buy a refurbished product from Modmobile, it will be 100% functional and working.

3. Are the refurbished products clean and sanitized?

Yes. Most of the refurbished devices have gone passed through maybe one or multiple hands making it prone have uncleaned surfaces. That is why refurbished phones alike need to go through an intense cleaning process.

Products are systematically cleaned to ensure they are as shiny and dust-free as new. Screens are polished, dust is removed from crevices, and all ports are checked for dirt. If needed, the internal parts of the hardware are cleaned so that you can be sure the refurbished device is entirely spotless and sanitized.

5. What payment modes are available and can I convert the purchase?

Multiple payment options like Debit Card/Credit Card/Netbanking etc. are available via our shopping platform. You can also make payment via Wallets like Paytm and PhonePe and through UPI as well.

6. When will My Order be Delivered?

Depending on the Pincode and logistics availability, the device will be delivered as quickly as possible.

7. Can I change my delivery address after I have placed the order?

8. Cannot track my order placed yesterday.

Normally the logistic companies take 24 hours to update the live status of the package. Please be rest assured, we will share timely updates via SMS and email to the registered mobile number and email address.

9. I would like to return the device. How can I get a refund?

We are sorry that our product did not meet your expectations. There is a 7 Day replace policy in place where the device can be returned back to us if it is in the condition as received and devoid of any damages/scratches. Our Call center shall assist you with the replacement process. There is no refund for the devices that are delivered.

10. The device I want is “Out of Stock”. Can I still place an Order?

Refurbished devices are subject to availability and we are unable to predict their procurement. We would request you to click on the “I’m Interested” tab below the Out of Stock button and you shall be notified once it is in stock.

11. What accessories are included? Are the accessories original?

Your device is accompanied by a charger, a Data Cable, a Thank You card, and a SIM opener Tool. All accessories are device compatible and may or may not be original but shall perform at best capacity

12. Does the product have a company warranty?

All Modmobile Refurbished devices carry a 6 month Modmobile Comprehensive Warranty that covers all the defects (excluding physical and/or liquid damage, and cosmetic defects)

13. How much warranty do the accessories have?

We would request you to capture the unboxing of the package that can help in the future to raise claims. Please connect with us if the device inside the package has any sort of damage.

15. What if the device ordered was previously stolen?

At Modmobile, all IMEI are checked for Blacklisting and all our procurement sources are very credible. We also maintain all possible records related to the purchase of the device that can be produced in the future if such a case arises.

16. What is the difference between “Platinum”, “Gold” and “Silver” condition devices?
